Wedding Words of Wisdom - W.E. Photography

I know, it's Thursday, but better late than never.  Between a family vacation and the flu, one day late on this post seems fine under the circumstances.

Today's words of wisdom are on the finer points of the getting ready time pre-ceremony.  Some couples do not choose this coverage and some do.  For those that do WE aim to capture the emotion of this time, the details of getting everything perfect, and the fun between family and friends.

WE like to show these photos in black and white.  It really draws on the suspense of what is about to take place, a wedding!

Here some examples of what WE are talking about.  Happy Wedding Planning!

Erin and Wes

1. The emotions of several brides WE've covered are so raw and lovely.  WE love when you forget WE are there with a big camera and you can be just be who you are.  THANK-YOU for that.

2.  Our brides get lots and lots of help getting into that dress.  Note: if you have a button back, use a crochet hook to help get those little loops around each button.  If you have corset ties, then suck it in and let your ladies pull!  Tee hee.  WE also love seeing the faces of her loved ones look at just how beautiful she is!

3. Makeup and jewels deserve a final check before saying I DO.

4.  The flower girls and ring bearers do their little bests to be ready for the walk down the isle.  SO cute!!

5. The men have lots of prepping to do as they help each other with ties and cufflinks.  It's not everyday, one gets to be sharped dressed man.  WE've seen many a groomsmen use Youtube to download a "how to" on ties so they get it just right.  Great work guys!

6. And finally, there is always some down time to write a note to his future wife, play some golf, and just laugh.
